About Me

Hi, I'm Rashid. I'm a Computer Science student at Stanford University and a Takatuf international scholar graduating in June 2023. I am passionate about developing computational methods to help scientists understand our genome and ultimately invent new therapies. At the Snyder Lab, I helped disover novel repeat expansions in cancer. Currently, I am innovating methods to genotype long tandem repeats at the G2 Lab. I plan on pursuing a graduate degree before joining teams working at the cutting-edge of biology and computer science.
